One of the things that I couldn’t wait to hear, after the birth of my daughter, was her laugh. To be able to bring her so much joy that she would express it by way of something that is just given to us naturally – laughter – made my heart feel super happy.
Her very first laugh happened out of the blue. I was home alone and had her laying on my bed and I was standing over her making some funny noises as I leaned down over her. She was smiling and cooing and I suppose she found me particularly funny that day because a little laugh escaped her lips.
Her second laugh happened when my mom and I were playing with her. She was sitting on my belly and my mom was sitting behind my head, staring at Willow. My mom would shake her face and say, “Boo!” and Willow would smile super big. Then, her smiles turned into big belly laughs, which had both my mom and I excited and in tears. We captured that on video as, at the time, I was doing daily vlogs on YouTube. You can see that video here:
I was reminded of these moments recently when Fisher-Price launched their new Laugh & Learn website. It’s a really fun place on the FisherPrice.ca website that offers webisodes, fun games and activities all designed to inspire fun and laughter for your wee ones. On the website your little ones can meet the Laugh & Learn characters, enjoy fun apps and learn about what’s new and upcoming for Fisher-Price.
To celebrate the launch of their new website, Fisher-Price is hosting an AMAZING new contest called the Best Little Laugh! This contest will be celebrating all those insanely-cute, over-the-top-adorable smiles, giggles and laughs.
