I am a Total Hair Damage Criminal! #DamageEraser

I would love to say that my hair is naturally platinum blonde, however, it is not…shhhhhhh!!! ; ) I do have a dark blonde natural hair colour, but for the past year and a half, I go in to my hairdressers approximately every 6 weeks or so and get my regrowth bleached (yes bleached!) to maintain the platinum colour that I love!

So given that I bleach my hair once every couple of months, and on top of that, I blow-dry, flat iron, curl and throw more products on it like hairspray and mousse – my hair is really not that healthy! Being a past hairdresser myself, I have been every length and colour imaginable! It is a wonder that my hair follicles haven’t just failed me and closed completely yet!

All that being said, I am always on the look for new products that will help keep my hair in the best shape I can with all the stress I put it under – keep it soft and looking like I don’t do as much to as it as I really do!

FructisFor me a product has to be readily available, affordable and…..smell great! This is where Fructis Damage Eraser comes into play!

I have used Fructis products in the past – both shampoo/conditioner and styling products. So it was a no brainer to me to try out latest from Garnier Fructis which is designed for dry and damaged hair.

Well check and check – both of those are my hair!

I recently sampled the Damage Eraser Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as the Strength Reconstructing Butter. I replaced the shampoo and conditioner for the brand that I normally use, for 2 days.

The first thing I notice about all Fructis products is the wonderful smells! They always make you want to indulge your hair in their amazing aromas! The Fructis Damage Eraser lives up to that standard for me!

The products are quite easy to use! The shampoo and conditioner are used as you would normally! Lather it up! I always leave my conditioner on longer than my shampoo, giving the product ample time to work its magic – strengthening the hair from root to tip! The Strength Reconstructing Butter stays on a bit longer – recommendation is 3-5 minutes. Then rinse and style as you normally would!

fructis after

After only two uses, I noticed my hair feeling less brittle, even after using the flat iron! I can only imagine what continuous use of the Fructis Damage Eraser line of products could do for my hair!

  1. I LOVE your colour and would really like to go that colour myself, but my hair is SO fine, I worry what the colour would do to my hair. HOWEVER this new shampoo really is AMAZING! My hair is SO smooth after using it, so perhaps I could get away with it!

  2. Love the pics! :) I’m with ya on the flat ironing – it’s my daily tool so these products are helping minimize the damage!

  3. I don’t use heat on my hair every day but since my hair is naturally quite curly when I do use heat I have to use a lot! I’ve been using the Damage Eraser products for about a week now and so far I’m pretty pleased with the results. I can definitely feel that my hair is softer.

  4. Love your before and after pics! :-)

  5. Great before and after shots! I’ve tried the products and like them too! Great coupon offers on now too!
